Why are relationships so challenging? Aren't we just doing what "comes naturally"? Few people realize that our instinctual approach to our relationships is really a tightly programmed set of behaviors we learned in our childhood. Unlearning the unwanted behaviors and practicing healthy communication skills can be an important part of our work. But how much will we have to compromise who we are?

We all need people in our lives. We also need some space, some freedom. It's a fine art learning how to juggle these two needs. Usually, there are trade offs. We have to make deals. And we have to find clear ways to negotiate what we need and what we'll give in return. Ultimately, the goal is getting to that sweet spot where we feel "this is working." Don't we all want to be able to explore who we are in a way that feels right, while also feeling totally relaxed and at peace with someone who loves us unconditionally?

Your needs might be finding, mending, or ending a strained relationship. Or it might be about finding and expressing the fire in your sexuality. I guide people in the unfolding of their sacred individuality. Through a combination of traditional counseling methods and my own Tantric way of joining energetically with the client, I help people lift out of their rigid patterns and firmly held beliefs about themselves. Looking beyond painful history I choose to see only magnificence. I help clients to see what choices there may be for creating beauty in their lives amidst contradictions and disappointments. I believe our spiritual/sexual life force is the key to our innate power, is the source of our creativity, and allows us to connect deeply with others.

I received my Ph.D. in Human Sexuality at the Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality, San Francisco, California. I worked as a licensed psychotherapist for many years in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I have received much training from many human potential workshops, including the Human Awareness Institute, Compassionate Communication, Re-evaluation Counseling, Insight, the Forum and various Tantra workshops, and I have led numerous sexuality workshops and classes of my own. Currently, I work with couples and individuals under the certification of the American Board of Sexologists.

I believe our spiritual / sexual life force is the key to our innate power, is the source of our creativity, and allows us to connect deeply with others.
